Ten Witches: The Queen of Poison, Wuxian

According to the Chinese mythology The Classic of Mountains and Seas.（“山海经”） Ten witches are ten ancient human females that inherit devine knowledge from the goddess of Life, Nvwa. And dedicated to discovering the origin of our consciousness. Each one of them specializes in different knowledge. During thousands of years of research, their bodies and minds are adapted to be more and more distant from humans.

Wuxian invented poison witchcraft known as "Gu（蛊）". "Gu" is a boi weapon created by trapping many poisonous insects , having them consume each other, then giving birth to the one "Gu, the best of poison". Wuxian is always surrounded by her babies who cultivate the insects as parasites in their "hair". They consume their own siblings and build up their power, eager to be chosen by Wuxian. The last one will consume their mother to be the next "Queen of Poison".

The descendent of her Clan is “Miao（苗）" The folklore about their witchcraft "Gu （蛊）" is still existing in South of China.

This character is from "Keep Outers: the Origin of Everything". An epic story about the birth of the world and gods, as well as the origin of human beings.
